1. What is OLAhome DNS?

OLAhome DNS is a service that helps you block dangerous or inappropriate online content, especially for children. It works through a special DNS created for each client. You can activate Parental Control to block certain apps or websites.

2. How is it paid?

You have two options:

Monthly subscription – automatically billed every month via Stripe. You can cancel anytime.
Temporary access – one-time payment for 31 days of access. No automatic renewal.

3. How to cancel a subscription?

You can cancel at any time without fees or penalties. Go to the cancellation page, enter the email used at purchase, and you will receive cancellation links for each active package.

OLAhome DNS never sees your card details. Stripe processes payments, and you can remove your card at any time from Stripe's portal, which you access immediately after payment.

4. Your responsibilities

You must configure your device's DNS correctly (the setup guide helps you). The service works best on Android phones, but we are working to ensure compatibility with iOS and Windows.

Depending on the package, you receive:

Individual: one DNS for one device
Family: three DNS addresses for three devices
Family+: five DNS addresses for five devices
Parental Control: available only with the packages above. Email us your DNS and specify exactly which apps or sites to block for your child.

Important: use an app that prevents the child from changing phone settings. Otherwise, they can disable DNS.

Each DNS has a limit of maximum 10 active devices (IPs) for Android and iOS. For Windows, the limit is 1 IP (a single simultaneous connection). If the limit is exceeded, access is considered abusive and is automatically blocked for protection.

5. Limitations you should know

OLAhome DNS helps remove ads, dangerous content, and keep your internet cleaner. But it is not an antivirus and cannot block all risks. We are not responsible for the websites you access.

Rarely, we may perform maintenance or updates. During these times, the service may be temporarily unavailable.

If you have connection or network issues unrelated to us (e.g., due to your ISP), we cannot be held responsible.

6. About your data and how we use it

When you buy a package, you provide your email address. We use this email to send your DNS, offer technical support, and allow you to cancel your subscription.

We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe provides us with an internal code (Stripe ID) to keep track of your subscription. We do not see your card details and do not store sensitive data.

This information is used only for:

sending your DNS details
managing payment and subscription
offering support (if needed)

We do not sell your data or use it for commercial purposes. You can request deletion of all your account-related data anytime. Email us at admin@olahomedns.eu.

We keep this information for a maximum of 30 days after you cancel your subscription, after which we delete it completely.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

see what data we hold about you
request modification or deletion of your data
limit how your data is used
request a copy of your data
object to processing if you disagree
